Sapling Design was started in January 2007 with a vision of providing Interactive Design services without bloat and hype.

Ashish – the founder, has worked in the design field since 1997 with a breadth of organizations in the industry – RJB Design (now Eureka Moment), Godrej & Boyce, Sapient, Media Lab Asia, Human Factors International and Webaroo Technologies to name the prominent. This experience ensures that we understand things from your perspective, no matter what type and size of organization you are.

How we work:

Sapling Design works as a consortium of experts in various fields who get involved in a project as and when needed. This has a double advantage for our clients:

1. By not having to maintain a permanent staff beyond the minimum required, we reduce our overheads and this gets reflected in our fees when compared to other firms with similar offerings and expertise.
2. We can draw from a large pool of talent, hence are not restricted to one type of expertise and methodology which we hard-sell to our clients. We remain methodology-agnostic and can use our judgement to evaluate the usefulness of every activity.

Still, we don’t pose to be experts – the body of knowledge in this field is always growing and we constantly look for new information, views, methods, and incorporate them in our work where appropriate.
